Well, I moved to Japan at the end of July and have been here nine or ten weeks so far. Life here is strange but the time moves quickly and the weekends make everything worthwhile. I live in the mountains and it is a very rural area but not far from a much larger city where I have made friends. I can't wait to buy a new camera and put it to good use--there's no end to subject for photography here.

Ok, another long hiatus! I'm terrible about updating anything but my Live Journal, so I apologize for my long absences. Unfortunately there isn't a whole lot to report, except that I now have a worthless degree in history and I've been accepted into the JET program. If all goes according to plan I will be moving to Japan for a year in late July.
A new camera is definitely in order! I'll be working a real job in Japan and making a great deal more money than I have since I've graduated, so hopefully I'll be able to afford an SLR one of these days. I wish I had some photography to update my gallery with but I've been rather disenchanted with my
